What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Chila offers a highly praised, innovative Argentine tasting menu with exceptional presentation and flavors. Diners frequently laud the creative dishes, attentive service, and stunning waterfront views. However, some find the price point high for Argentina, and a few reviews mention inconsistencies in savory courses.
"Memorable experience!
We enjoyed the 8 course meal. Every bite was sensational. I personally LOVED food (e.g. sweetbread) that I would otherwise not eat.
The location is great, the service attentive, the dining experience outstanding.
One suggestion, would be not to insist on offering the wine pairing for 5 times…
Overall, one of the best table I’ve ever been to."

"Felicidades to the staff and the chef! What a great dining experience. The price tag, especially for Argentina, is no joke, quite on the high side. But each dish was fantastic, with novel flavors and a great story. Our servers were super attentive and knowledgeable, especially Zacarías, the sommelier and the postre chefs who came out and prepared our dish to order for us right at the table. I don't usually like going back to the same restaurant twice, especially not one this expensive, plus in BA there are tons of places to try, but I would put Amarra on my "Go Back Again" list along with places like Julia. Oh, and the garlic raviolis.....yummmm!"

"One of the best tasting menus I’ve had in a while! Highly recommend if you’re in BsAs. Every dish was phenomenal and managed to surprise you with amazing flavor and texture experience. Wine pairing was done well!"

12 Best Restaurants for Foodies in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Fine dining, at least in the European sense, is still relatively uncommon in Buenos Aires, but Chila bucks the trend with its upscale Michelin quality tasting menu in BA’s fanciest neighborhood. The swanky dining room overlooks the city’s harbor and Puerto Madero, as well as a bustling walking and cycling path, creating a lovely backdrop ambiance for an exceptional meal. Our tasting menu included a range of dishes proudly featuring regional ingredients produced by small Argentinian farms throughout the country, as well as a well-crafted wine pairing of Argentinian only wines.

Welcome to Chila, a neighborhood in Buenos Aires that likes to march to its own beat, much like a sassy tango dancer refusing to follow the choreography. This unique barrio is a delightful blend of bohemian vibes, street art that could pass off as a Picasso masterpiece, and an abundance of quirky cafes where locals ponder life's deepest mysteries over a cup of strong Argentine coffee. Chila (Alicia Moreau de Justo 1160, Puerto Madero) is a sleek and smart restaurant and a contender for the city’s best fine-dining experience. Chef Soledad Nardelli is one of the young stars of the restaurant scene in Buenos Aires, and her menu demonstrates a classical French training that’s increasingly flecked with inspiration and unusual ingredients. For example, carob-like ground algarroba pods pop up as a crispy tuile on a hazelnut dessert with cream-cheese ice cream.
