"Really nice place to go for a swim, but depends where you do it, a lot of grate fishing spots, pike fishing is most common on it closer to the see, but if you go fishing somewhere in "Latgale" i suggest trying for catfish. River has a lot of scenery, suitable for kayaking or better yet- rafting, though be careful planning the rout, because it has a few dams on it, mainly upstream."
