This is definitely a must-do in Phu Quoc! I booked the combo ticket (entrance + zoo tram + F&B) through Klook.
Let’s start with the staff- everyone was amazing and super friendly! They were so helpful and really went above and beyond. Some staff don’t speak much English, so learning a few Vietnamese phrases or using Google Translate will definitely make your visit smoother.
When we took the bus to see the lions, zebras, and other animals, one of the staff asked me to do a quick web review (I think it’s only in Vietnamese, not 100% sure), and I got a food coupon for the elephants in return. We had so much fun feeding them!
The place was super clean and enjoyable! We had such a great time exploring all the different areas of the zoo. However, the food at the Giraffe Restaurant was a bit meh, it was dry and not served hot, so I wasn’t a big fan. But honestly, the amazing view of the giraffes kind of made up for it!
There are multiple buses to get you to the zoo and it is for free so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT :)"

"A moderate sized park with diverse wildlife exhibits. There is a bird show in the morning at 10:00 am and another one at 2:00 pm. I would recommend for you to reach 15 - 20 mins earlier at the amphitheater and settle at a good spot for the show. If you want to experience the show and record it find a spot at the center or if you want to get up-close with some hornbills the fly in from left and right top corner stairs of the amphitheater. The show showcased some amazing birds like rhino hornbill, great hornbill and ostriches. After the show there are lots of animal enclosures to explore. If you are with elderly people or infants you can opt the buggy service for 1,00,000 VND. But the buggy doesn't stop at the enclosures instead the just drive buy the enclosures so you cannot get a up-close encounter with the animals. At the end of the park there is a bus safari which goes through different gates which holds tigers, lions, bears, rhino, giraffes, zebra and many other herbivores. But the bus as well doesn't stop next to the animals for you to observe theme properly. They just drive by each gates without giving you a proper chance to observe the animals especially if there is a long queue at the bus station. Yes of course you have to wait in a long queue for your turn at the bus station unless you have a express pass. There is also a bird aviary and a giraffe restaurant where you can feed the giraffes. Overall a good place for kids and sub adults to enjoy up-close with various animals."

"Great little zoo with a Safari and Tram service. Many animals and opportunities to feed some and get up close and personal. The giraffe cafe was amazing. Only complaint would be the wait for the Safari bus. It was very long in that line today. And the staff at the Giraffe cafe were not cleaning the tables to make room for new guests. But overall we had a great time. Friendly staff and easy to get around."
