"We travel during a low season so the value to the room was great. The room was great except it is next to the construction side so you paid extra for the view but there is limited view.
The breakfast diversity can be improved for guests with long stay as they have the same dishes every day. If you want to explore or have closer view to the bay, this is a bit further away compared to hon gai, but the beach nearby is very nice, quiet location with lots of taxi nearby so easy for transportation.

"We stayed at A La Carte for 3 nights as our base for our Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island tour, and we loved it. Our room was on the 28th floor, offering a wonderful view of the city and the marina. The breakfast was good, and we especially enjoyed the infinity pool and the rooftop bar. Excellent value for the price. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Halong."

Everything about it was luxurious. Even the reception area has been scented with a gorgeous smell- they think of everything here to ensure guests have a good experience.
