Visitors consistently rave about Hoi An's lantern making workshops, highlighting the incredibly friendly and entertaining staff who make the experience fun for all ages. The hands-on creation of beautiful, collapsible lanterns is a major draw, offering a unique and memorable souvenir. While the workshops are generally well-organized, some may find the background music a bit loud.
"Amazing class! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. We went as a group of 13 (6 were kids between 9-12yo) and everyone had a great time! The staff were super attentive and helpful... and they had an amazing sense of humor! It felt like a party. We crafted, sang along to songs, and joked around with the staff. They are very fluent in English. Our lanterns looked fabulous even the ones from the non crafty people of our group. We had the best time ever. I even purchased about 20 already made lanterns for gifts."

"The best lantern making in the city. This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. They are so kind and friendly. The staff give clear instructions and guide you along the way. They also help fix any mistakes too. 🤣"
The Go To Family
"We booked this activity through Get Your Guide. The family running this class were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We got to choose between 4 different shapes of lanterns and many different fabrics. We had guidance the whole way through, checking the lantern at each stop to make sure it turn out to look as good as possible. They even offered to take photos for us during the class as well as after the class with our finished lanterns. Definitely the best activity we have done in Vietnam to date. 10/10 would recommend to a friend"
