"This is quite an unassuming pagoda from the outside but once you venture inside of the entry you will see a well decorated, multi level building along with a small but interesting courtyard.
There are a few statues outside of Chua Phat Hoc, and a couple of Buddha statue variations just inside the courtyard area.
Each level of the pagoda contains lovely prayer altar rooms. The first level has a Thousand-Hand Avalokiteshvara (Guanyin statue) along with an elaborate wood carving featuring many Buddhist themed carvings within it. Each floor level is worthwhile visiting containing lovely Buddhism statues and artwork, especially the top level - Buddha Hall, which is quite magnificent.
If you're in the area or visiting Can Tho and want to see a nice pagoda (without travelling outside of the cities limits), this is recommended."

"A religious place was impressive in my heart once I officially thought of it. It has been a long time since I paid an honourable visit to this pagoda for a charity purpose. At first glance, the whole scenic beauty of Phat Hoc Pagoda could not engrave the most sophisticated feelings and affection during the time I came here."
