"Loved it. Gotta admit I booked this room for the tub overlooking the lake and I wasn’t disappointed. The water was super hot (didn’t fill the tub before going cold, but heated back up quickly to fill more). But the staff and really delicious snacks ($2.50 for a bag of good beef jerky is mind blowing to an American) took the room over the top, especially Phuong and Quynh. Absolute sweethearts. The location was perfect for someone who likes to relax, but still have food around. It was a nice walk along the lake when I did want to go to the busy part of Hanoi. I’d recommend booking a higher room to be farther from the street noise."

"If you take the standard room, and if you are on the first floors be ready to not sleep. There’s always so much noise or from the city, or the courtyard. I was in the second floor and was waken up everyday by grandpas standing in the courtyard at 7:30 AM yelling in their language. That was a nightmare. The staff was kind enough to put me on the 7th floor after I complained and I slept a little bit better even though there was always a sound to bother you. The location is nice though, and the staff was very nice. For the price, you couldn’t expect more, but you can’t expect worst neither. The rooms are clean though and the housekeeper is so sweet."

"First thing first, the 2 girls at the reception and the maid are really sweet and helpful. The location is what I wanted, calm but not too far from old town. With this price, I can say the view is worth it. The bed is one of the best mattress I experienced.
Here are the things I wish the hotel can fix it (some of them I already told the receptionist)

- will be nice if you can make it dry and wet part in the toilet
