"Had a really disappointing experience at Hanoi Cider House yesterday.
We arrived at 11:30 when the restaurant was completely empty. But we needed to wait for 1hr for our food to come because the staff seemed to forget about it. And there was no customer in the restaurant (except us), at all!
They offered some fries but it's not a good idea cause you will lose your appetite for the main food if you eat something beforehand.
Then came the food. We ordered one Egg Benedict and one Rib Sandwich with some extra sourdough bread.
The bread was toasted too much it became so dry like a stale, old bread. It's not even a sourdough but like a low quality bread with additives to make it rise bigger. The English muffin had the same texture, light and not dense enough. The poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were fine, making them the highlights of the whole dish.
My BF's comment on his sandwich: was made so carelessly like they just threw all ingredients to it.
Was excited to try the place but left with disappointment. Not recommended."

After checking into the hotel in the evening I went out in search of a motorbike for rent for 15 days to explore North Vietnam with my friend. On the way I found this restaurant interesting and I visited to have a night meal here. I asked the staff to suggest the menu and they offered a great dish!
