What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
While the Hanoi Biological Museum boasts a superb, historic architecture and a potentially fascinating collection of natural history exhibits, many visitors report finding it closed or inaccessible without prior appointment. Those who manage to visit often praise the architectural beauty and the educational value of the displays.
"It was temporary close when I went there but the architecture was superb, old but beautiful"
Waropas Pitakanonda
"Unable to comment on the actual exhibition itself as doors were locked and visitation is by appointment only. I know quite a few people have commented to say they think it is closed. However, after translating the sign on the door and speaking to a chemistry student it appears that you need to make a reservation to view the museum a minimum of a day in advance. Once you’re approved they open the museum for you at your selected time. This is to prevent the specimens being damaged."
Fifo C
"Do not go - save your time.
Appears to be no longer operating. No signs or notice regarding opening times. No exhibits on display. Arrived 3.45pm or so on a weekday."
