What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Du Gia Village is widely praised for its breathtaking natural beauty, particularly its stunning waterfalls and panoramic mountain views. Visitors rave about the peaceful atmosphere and the authentic hospitality offered by local homestays, making it a highlight for many on the Ha Giang Loop. However, some guests have noted that food can be expensive, and a few have experienced issues with deceptive room descriptions or noisy accommodations.
"If you want a relaxing time outside the party-town of Du Gia. You just have to come here.
It's just very peaceful, they have the most amazing beautiful garden en the staff is really helpful and friendly. The rooms are also very good. And the food is amazing
Just to top it off, there's a very nice waterfall were you can swim just 15min away.
I highly recommend this place!"

"Everything was quite good, the location was very good, and the people were nice, but the food was expensive for what you got. We ordered the rice dish for two people for 300,000 dong and only got a bowl of rice and nothing else. Everything else had to be ordered at an extra cost, which I found a bit of a shame. Nevertheless, it was a very nice homestay."

"WORST STAY EVER: Deceptive, Noisy, and Unfriendly
I booked the Premium Deluxe room expecting a balcony/patio, but was given a room overlooking a communal towel drying rack. The staff's explanation that the view was only "slightly obstructed" was a poor excuse for false advertising, and they refused to change our room due to full occupancy.
Location was terrible: our room was right next to the public restroom. I had to endure the constant, disturbing noise of other guests using the toilet and flushing all night long—sleep was impossible.
The staff were unfriendly and ignored us, focusing only on international guests. Plus, the access road is a narrow, difficult dirt path.
The price we paid for the Premium Deluxe room does not reflect the poor quality of the experience we received. I have never felt such a strong desire to check out early from an accommodation. Avoid this homestay."
