What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Dragon Carp Statue Park a charming riverside attraction, particularly beautiful when illuminated at night. Its proximity to the iconic Dragon Bridge, especially during the weekend fire and water show, is a major highlight. While not a 'must-see' for everyone, it offers a pleasant atmosphere for walks and photos.
"Located right next to Dragon Bridge along the Han River, this beautiful Dragon Carp Fountain reminded me a lot of the fountains in Kampot and Singapore. It’s one of those landmarks that draws the camera out — day or night.
At night it lights up in shifting colours and makes for a great photo op, just be careful if you’re trying to pose under the water stream — you will get wet! It’s a popular stop for locals and visitors alike, and a fun little spot to relax by the river."

"I came to Vietnam for a three-week vacation. My cousin recommended that I visit the Dragon Carp Fountain in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam. We went there for a walk and took some pictures for memories. The Dragon Bridge looked alright. I believe it looks more beautiful at night than during the daytime. We walked around the Dragon Bridge area to take some photographs."
Victoria Nguyen
"I’d recommend to visit at night as the fountain is right next to the ‘Love’s Pier’ which glows red at night and the fountain does too and it overall just looks visually nice. To the right of the fountain are stores which you can buy toys, souvenirs, and heart shaped lockets for the ‘Love’s Pier’.
The fountain is just a 5 minute or less walk from the Dragon Bridge, near restaurants, cafes, and such. It looks similar to the Merlion in Singapore as well but still looks different enough to distinguish. Overall, a nice place to visit but not a super must to visit I’d say."
