What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Da Lat Alpine Coaster, calling it a thrilling and scenic ride through the pine forests, often highlighting it as a must-do in Vietnam. While some find the speed control a bit basic and occasionally get stuck behind slower riders, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many eager to ride again. The addition of ziplining and the natural beauty of Datanla Waterfall enhance the visit.
"How much fun is an alpine coaster? After riding five of them across Vietnam, I can honestly say they never get old and Datanla’s version is one of the best. Set within a forested pine valley, the track weaves its way through tall trees and down steep slopes, offering a perfect blend of adrenaline and nature.
There are two track lengths available: short and long. I highly recommend the long version to get the most out of the experience. You control your own speed with side handles, which makes it ideal whether you want a thrill or a slower ride but here’s my advice: there are only two real speeds stop or go fast!
It’s a return track, so you’re automatically brought back to the top after your descent. The coaster itself feels safe and is very well maintained. Each car is equipped with a seatbelt and simple brake levers, and the ride is smooth but full of twists, dips, and turns.
The only downside? Getting stuck behind someone who wants to cruise at 5 km/h (which happened once) but even then, the scenic ride through the pines is still enjoyable. It’s definitely one of the must-dos if you’re looking for something exciting in Da Lat."

"Datanla New Alpine Coaster is our to-do in Dalat!! My queen and I fear heights and would never visit a theme park for excitement rides but this, we were a BIG YESSSSSS for. 250K each and we had a ride up to the waterfall. Had all the time we wanted to take a lot of photos before taking another ride down. Please note that photo taking is not allowed during the ride because of safety to self and others, unless you have absolute capability to hold your phone in your hand, if not please follow the rules :)"

"The Alpine Coaster was 3/5. If you’re an adrenaline junky, I don’t recommend it. The staff did not give clear instructions so make sure you ask twice. The highlight of our visit was the Zipline, and we also tried the Rope course. We got there around lunchtime so we didn’t have any chance to try the Canyoneering part but it looks fun!"
