What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about The Cafe Apartment's unique atmosphere, calling it a 'quirky block' filled with diverse cafes and shops offering a retro vibe. The adjacent Nguyen Hue Walking Street is praised for its lively evening ambiance and safety. The main drawback cited is the elevator system, with many recommending the stairs for a fuller experience.
"Nguyễn Huệ Square is a wide, open boulevard linking the river to the main town centre in District 1.
Its lined with great restaurants, cafés, and side streets. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll, for people watching, and for feeding pigeons. Despite being in the heart of the city, it has a calm, relaxed atmosphere especially in the evenings when the lights come on and feels very safe and friendly any time of day and night."

"Is this the same Cafe Apartment? And yes the stairs are still the same old narrow spiral. There’s lift are chargeable. A new bingsoo stall that I have never seen before. And we were toasted from the horrible weather out there, bingsoo was really satisfying."

"Old building that turned out to be a very popular destination for visitors, particularly young people and tourists in the central of Saigon. The building can bring you a retro vibe of Vietnam in the 20th century with various choices of foods and drinks and some old corners to take pictures.
The disadvantage is that it has only one lift that is managed by some individuals who always request us to pay (just few thousand VND) to use it. The staircase next to the life is free to use, of course, and climbing up 9 floors is not something too difficult, given you would have a number of things to explore at each floor. Some good coffee shops recommended are Po` cafe, Arabica % coffee.
This place worths a visit!"
