"If you genuinely want to get your hands on some legitimate souvenirs that are made in Vanuatu by local people with local materials, this is one place you need to go. The level of skill and workmanship is evident in the finished products, and the artists are very warm and engaging, taking the time to explain the meaning of different weaving patterns, use of natural dyes, and materials to produce what are not only works of art, but practical, long lasting products that will bring you many years of use. For an ethical buy that injects money directly into the local ecconomy and goes towards feeding families, you can't go past this place."

"The market is just opening up again after the devastating earthquake ☹️, so not all the stalls were open, some are still located elsewhere, but the stalls that are there have amazing quality! All the women and their weaving, necklaces and wooden goods are legitimate Vanuatu made treasures 😍 No cheap crap here, beautiful stuff only, and they are all so kind with a smile and grateful for sales. They even gave my little girl a bracelet and purse which she absolutely loved 🐚🥰 There is also a cafe at the end too, great for a snack when deciding what to buy 🇻🇺"
