"Beautiful building with a variety of paintings, rugs, vases and ancient artifacts from Uzbekistan , Russia and Western countries i.e. Italy. I particularly enjoyed the Uzbek paintings of Samarkand and the Uzbek Spring.
It was worth visiting on a hot day as the museum is very cool inside. There were no queues. In order to take pictures you need to pay a small amount which is worth it. Also, during our visited we managed to see art students practicing their painting skills which made the atmosphere peaceful, resilient and inspiring.
I highly recommend a visit to this museum."

With a giant collection of seemingly randomly combined items, damaged interior, and old-fashioned presentation techniques, this museum makes you feel like you enter into a long-gone era. Without any guideline or selection, the exhibition bombards you with more or less interesting items, but never gives any real clue of what it is trying to show or say."
