"A very easy walk through historic center of Bukhara to the Modarykhan Madrasah which is linked with the larger Abdullah Khan Madrasah. Both are known as the Kosh Madrasah, which translates to “double madrasah.” I understand that the name can be translated as “the mother of the Khan.” It was an important educational instution for educating youth in national and religious traditions. It was a very difficult challening curriculum with much self discipline required. But it is the architecture, mosaics and building that had most appeal for us. And thanks to a well practised guide we were able to climb on the roof where there were great views and water storage I think."
