What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Termas del Salto Grande is praised as a fun, family-friendly water park and a relaxing thermal springs destination, especially for those in Uruguay. While the aquatic park offers good entertainment, some find it basic compared to international standards. The natural setting is a definite plus, though visitors should be prepared for limited and expensive food options.
"This is a review for the restaurant. The park was awesome.
Review for La Casona Restaurant
Unfortunately, our experience at La Casona was disappointing. None of us were happy with our meals—everything we ordered was either hard, lacked flavor, or was strangely prepared. It really missed the mark on all fronts.
On top of that, we were surprised to see a charge of $2.20 per person just for using utensils, which was printed right on the menu. That’s a first for us, and frankly, it felt unreasonable—especially considering the food quality.
In the end, we decided not to waste the rest of our time or money and went somewhere else for desert. Would not recommend."
Aracelis Saladin
"This is a very nice water park. If you have the chance to be in other water parks around the world, this is very basic. But it's really lovely for Uruguay. Be aware of some bite flies or Mosquitoes in the area"
