What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise The French Laundry for its exquisite food, impeccable service, and enchanting ambiance, calling it a truly unforgettable culinary journey. While the price is high, many feel the value and experience are well worth the investment. However, a rare but significant concern raised by some guests involves severe illness after dining, coupled with a perceived lack of empathetic response from the restaurant.
"Simply the best meal I have ever had. Wow. I expected the food to be out of this world and it exceeded my expectations.
Every dish was balanced, beautifully presented and sublime. The first dish of Oysters and Pearls is straight from heaven. I mean I could have gone home after that!!!
However, the wait staff was so exceptional. Annie, Veronica and Alexa made us feel extremely special and welcomed. Could not thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness.
We cannot wait to go back

"Nothing else needs to be said. ITS PERFECT. It lives up to all expectations and why it can be considered one of the best (if not the best) restaurants in the world. Thank you Nicole (from Connecticut!) for making our meal memorable and unforgettable. We will enjoy the chocolates :)"

"Iconic restaurant that deserves the recognition it gets. From the ambience, the service, the food and wine, it’s truly a remarkable experience worth the price of entry.
Reservations have become exceedingly difficult to get, but if you have the opportunity to go, jump on it.
I could go on about it, but really not much else needs to be said. An institution that lit the way for many fine dining restaurants, and remains a pillar of excellence. I eagerly await a chance to revisit."
