"Covered bridges are pretty cool, the architecture and style can vary from simple to ornate, and these are glimpse into the past. This one is an aesthetic structure, nice brick red color and cool construction. It's way out in the middle of nowhere, the road out to it is long, and turns into gravel at one point. There's also a LOT of signage "NO TRESPASSING" "PRIVATE PROPERTY" "KEEP OUT" along the way, so it's not welcoming at all. In fact, the far end of the bridge is entirely private property, again with tons of signs. We didn't stay long, as we felt very unwelcome and didn't want to get into a situation with an irate property owner. It's worth checking out if you're into covered bridges, but we were glad when we got back to civilization."

"If you enjoy covered bridges, then the nice 15 minute drive inland from Yachats is worth your time. It’s well maintained, and very photogenic. It’s private property on the other side of the bridge, so we were respectful and didn’t drive through. We just walked through, and soaked up the big wooden beams and the ambiance of the bridge. Not much parking, but we’ve visited the bridge 2x in the last 2 yrs , and only encountered 3 other visitors, and they all were delightful, and had fun life stories to share."
