What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens for its serene atmosphere, beautiful art, and picturesque lake views. It's often described as a hidden gem offering a peaceful escape from the usual Orlando attractions. Some find the collection intimate and moving, while others appreciate the tranquil gardens.
"This museum ended up being an unexpected joy! Albin Polasek, the artist who sculpted the man carving himself out of a block of stone, retired to Florida and had his studio (and marriages) here. It's interesting to see it as his home, and to see the art he created here. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative and made it all very interesting.
There's a short video as part of the tour, plus a chapel and the sculpture garden in the back, and a small gallery space for new and emerging artists. The current artist, Kenyan Njeri Kinuthia, is very interesting. The ladies that work here are super nice and pointed me towards the Alfond Inn for more art. Everyone here was extra friendly."

"We had an amazing experience in the Albin Polasek Museum. It transported us back in time and you can enjoy some beautiful gardens, with views at the lake. We took advantage of BoFA Museum on Us opportunity to check it out and we don’t regret. Very quick visit as the galleries are not too big and gardens are a quick walk, however you can spend some time admiring nature and the artifacts in display."
