What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Frazer Point is a charming, less-crowded spot on Acadia's Schoodic Peninsula, praised for its picnic areas and scenic pier. While some visitors note unpleasant odors and biting flies at low tide, the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere make it a worthwhile stop for those seeking a quieter Acadia experience.
"This park has a cute little walkway and dock. The dock is mainly for fishing. When we were there in June, it was low tide and the odor was horrible and there were several flies biting. We did see a jellyfish right off the walkway. The surrounding park is a nice, grassy area with benches and pretty views. Area by dock and towards the inlet is where odor was strong. It is just something to see if going to Winter Harbor/Schoodic but not a place I would choose to go to unless already in the area."

"Nice picnic place on way to Schoodic Point."

"Nice little spot in Acadia Park that is perfect for a short stretch your legs and eat a lunch location. Picnic tables and wandering paths with a newer pier to walk out onto the water. To get to this there are signs that you need a park pass displayed but you have to go to the camp and get one or have one already on line. When you leave you can go directly back out to the main route by turning left. If you turn right out of the lot you enter more of Acadia and its a one way drive so you have to go all the way down and around to get back to a main route."
