Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Homolovi State Park's serene atmosphere, spacious campsites, and well-maintained facilities. The park's historical significance, stunning desert sunsets, and the chance to see wild burros are frequently highlighted as major attractions. While some mention the lack of nearby dining, the park's peacefulness and natural beauty make it a highly recommended stop.
"Loved our two night stopover here. There are showers and flush toilets that are all very well maintained and clean. The park is beautiful and very quiet ... no train noise but you see them off on the horizon and I know there are reviews of other parks that mention the noise so that was a bonus for us! The sites are large with a cabana and picnic table at each one. Just a 13 minute drive to the infamous "Standin' on the corner" location. Another review mentioned a very bumpy ride into the site, that has been fixed and it's not bad at all... would NOT stop me from going at all! Highly recommend this spot!"
