"This place was very interesting. Even kept my 9 year old son interested the 1-2 hours we were there. The story behind the church was cool. The story of the town and the fort were also cool. But the “Storm Flag” they had on display was absolutely amazing. They have a very nice video to watch, the exhibit hall had a lot of artifacts and info. They also have a small gift area. Staff were friendly. The grounds were kept clean. The signs are getting hard to read but not a problem. We scanned the QR code and were able to get even more info online through the self guided tour. This place exceeded our expectations and so long we chose this place for an afternoon excursion. Before you leave make sure to stop by the lake you pass on the way. We saw 3 alligators just chilling in the sun. Was really cool to see."

"Very nice place, lots of history and a very nice museum on the property. At the time I was there, they had a canon in a tank, preserving it. On this day, I took photos with my 1959 Yashica D 120 film camera in Black and White. If you're ever in the area, it is definitely worth the stop."
