"We recently stayed at a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage inside this beautiful state park, and it was everything we hoped for. The cottage was well-maintained, with a spacious screened-in porch. Outside, we had our own picnic table and fire pit.
Whether you’re into hiking, fishing, kayaking, or just soaking up the scenery, there’s something for everyone. Trails were well-marked, the lake was serene, and the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
We had a fantastic time. Highly recommend this spot for those looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty to do."

"Enjoyed swimming in the shallow swimming areas. Not too crowded. The beach sand is combed or raked each day so the beach is very clean and beautiful. Also enjoyed hiking the trail around the lake starting from the beach all the way to the ranger’s station or park shop. They have a display of some local animal furs, skulls, and some fresh mushrooms they just picked. Very educational."
