"This park is delightful. We visited while on vacation. We found it serendipitously. There are sidewalks but you can walk anywhere across the expansive areas. There is plenty of room for people to relax, read and rest. The dog park was well laid out with separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. There are lots of trees including the amazing loblolly pines with lots of pine cones. I collected cones for a wreath. This is a great place for birding. We saw at least 10 species in only about 20 minutes."

"This park is absolutely amazing! Stunning pine trees are known for air purifying properties. Although I don’t have little kids I loved the playground they have built. Also a “playground” for big kids/adults. A very nice playground for dogs. There is a little pond with koi fish and turtles. I even spotted a Muscovy duck, which is native to Central/ South America, but domesticated in North America. I still can’t wrap my mind around it- what this exotic duck doing here? Alone in the park."

"I'm an out of towner, and stumbled upon this lovely park. I came 2x to get my steps in the 1.5 mile trail that surrounds the park. Very well maintained."
