Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Bluethenthal Wildflower Preserve as a serene, well-maintained natural escape, perfect for quiet walks and connecting with local flora and fauna. Its status as a 'best-kept secret' is often highlighted, though the limited parking and occasional overflowing trash bins are noted drawbacks.

"Hi. We googled this lovely place and went to see it a few times. It's a beautiful place of nature: to hear all the lovely birds songs, to see many creatures and enjoy. Well-placed benches are great to relax and listen to all these lovely sounds that are coming from everywhere. Our many thanks for the maintenance crew. You people are doing a great job to keep this place beautiful. Please convey our appreciation to them. Thank you for not planting "foreign" plants that don't belong and would interfere with a local habitat. All the critters are thankful also. This place is very special and unique. It's not just a walk through nature, it's a lovely place to reconnect with it and to be a part of it."

Pets are allowed, but,of course, must be on a leash."

Hedi Perotto

"We. February isn't the best time to visit, but we were expecting to catch sight of a handful of early ephemerals. Unfortunately we only found one plant blooming.

There is very little parking (just 4 spaces capped at one hour) and the trash bins along the trails were overflowing badly.

Overall this is an amazing resource and I'd love to try checking it out some other time. The minnows and turtles in the wetland pond were at least interesting even if the plant life was a little disappointing."
