"Moderate hike overall. If you're a runner, you can do this in 90 minutes out-and-back. Great views of Denali if clear. Only give it 4* because of heavy sun exposure. Luckily, our day was overcast, so not so bad. Several spots along the trail to get really nice photos if it's clear. You can go to 1.7 miles out and get great shots. Go to the top for great panoramic view."

"I did this home on a clear day, and wow, the views were incredible!! There were so many fresh berries on the side of the trail that we were able to eat, although be cautious and know which ones are which cause there were also toxic berries. We saw a black bear at the top, but he was well over 500 yards away. It was an easy three miles up and the miles down. Not hard at all and the views of the mountain were some of the best I've ever seen! Definitely recommend!! Also, the facilities were clean and well taken care of."
Joseph Peterson
"Very fortunate to have a rare perfectly sunny day on July 4th. Denali can be seen at multiple parts of this moderate 6.5 mile trail. The end, which rising high above the treeline, gives astonishing views of Denali National Park and the surrounding tundra"
