"The Grand Canyon Railroad is a really cool experience. They start you off with a short western show that shows a little bit what life was like in the old west. Then you hop on for the roughly 2.5 hour ride to the canyon. We rode in the Pullman car which was really interesting considering all the history that goes with those cars. (just a warning, no a/c in that car) The train leaves to come back about three hours after you arrive at the canyon which gives you plenty of time to get in some great canyon views. On the ride back, the same group that did the western show pulled off a mock train robbery which was kinda cool. Overall, a very nice experience with the Grand Canyon Railroad."

"This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Grand Canyon. The train ride was approximately 2.5 hours and we did 1st class going and luxury coming back. The attendants were all nice especially, Terrill (hope I spelled it correctly). She was in the luxury section and we enjoyed her stories, knowledge of the railroad and surrounding areas. What a pleasure. The entertainment (musicians) was first class!
Of note, the train itself is meticulously maintained so, you see the pride and joy of Williams, AZ and rightfully so. We plan to comeback and rinse and repeat. Loved every moment!"

"Did the train from South to North Rim, with a Wild West Bank robbery show beforehand. Our tour guide on the northbound train with Mary Ellen, a retired Harvey girl who was funny and full of great facts. On the return trip, our train was "robbed" by the same crew who robbed the bank earlier. The best part was that our tour package included baggage delivery to our rooms at the hotel at either end of our train trip. I highly recommend the tour package with overnight stays at the Grand Canyon"
