"Very underwhelming.
The restaurant staff was slow and honestly disrespectful, especially at lunch. We asked a staff member about adding an extra margarita to our check while we were looking it over, and she demanded that we “show her!” because she insisted she would have never done that. She also told us that our rooms didn’t exist.
Lunch and dinner were lackluster and not what we were expecting for paying as much as we did.
But the biggest issue we had was the pure amount of children at this resort—running everywhere, not being controlled by their parents. In fact, the parents were nowhere to be seen. I got run into and almost knocked off my feet multiple times.
We ended up leaving a day early.
Colonel and Jim were fantastic and highly recommend archery and skeet shooting with them. The only reason why this review doesn’t have less stars.
I would reccomend finding a stay in cave creek for a better desert experience."

"I have not even stayed here yet but am already so turned off in doing so. I called in to get a few questions answered about the property and was cut off and talked over during my whole conversation. My husaband served 6 years in the Marines and they would not budge and give him the military discount claiming it is only for active memebrs of the military. I think it is horrible they only give military discounts to active military. My husband signed the same check as active military did for 6 long years and it is a disgrace for them to separate active vs veteran because both have signed up to fight for our country. We were looking forward to staying here but have cancelled plans becasue of the negative treatment/policies that we have encountered so far.
The property replied with call the GM I am sure they can accommodate you. I called them that day and left a message for the GM and it has not been three days without a call back. Real accommodating!"

"What a beautiful get away. Great food and drinks and honestly some of the best staff members I've ever met. Beautiful trailing riding with calm sweet horse and amazing guides. The trap shooting instructor Jim made my first time shooting so much fun and felt nice and safe as well. What a great experience all around."
