What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise CityArts for its diverse and high-quality art classes, knowledgeable instructors, and welcoming community atmosphere. The rotating galleries and engaging events like First Friday are also highlights, making it a vibrant hub for creativity and art appreciation in Wichita. Some minor critiques might involve class availability during peak times.
"Highly recommend City Arts! They have a myriad of classes with extensive workshops/labs filled with all the tools you could need to start learning. Pottery, silversmithing, glass fusing, painting, etc.
The instructors are knowledgeable and good at teaching, and the class provides a cohort of fellow creatives to learn from and be inspired by. Silversmithing has been enjoyable and I’ve learned a lot. Any project I’ve brought in to attempt, my instructor has been able to help me create. I’d like to take a glass fusing class and a pottery class at some point too. Fees are reasonable and you can buy some supplies at the front desk.
If you’re looking to learn new skills with fellow creatives, look no further than City Arts."

"Great fun at their event last night. The sculpture tour got us out exploring Old Town. We submitted photos for their photo contest. It was fun. Also enjoyed their local artist art show and as always, had to buy something from their gift shop."

"During the summer I came to City Arts to try their Glass Fusing class and ended up taking a total of three classes back to back. I learned something new and had fun. There is no right or wrong way to fuse glass and create art. It is a great way to relax and meet new people. Everyone is nice and helpful. They have day classes and night classes, weekdays or weekends and not just Glass Fusing but other arts too! Classes for kids as well as adults. Check it out! You never know what talent you might discover you have."
