"Excellent place for me to go get some pictures of the sunset. The walking trail is linear so there is no loop to walk around here. I just use this place to catch a good sunset in the summer. If your looking for a place to take some cool pictures with the light from the sun bouncing off the water I highly recommend this location. The parking lot is gravel and there is a hill you will have to walk up depending on which way you decide to walk from this location. It's directly connected to the main walk trail that runs around the entire wichita falls area.( the pictures I posted were taken and edited by me personally). There are two different fishing docks where you can fish from and I think this is mostly what this location is used for. It's not lit up at night so please bring your own light if your coming out at night. I will post more useful pictures at a later date."
