"Pretty interesting tunnel, the history of the hauntings got us to stop and explore. Park at the dog park below and there is a set of steps across the field up to the heritage trail that lead right to the tunnel. Also about a 15 min drive to the haunted Moundsville/WV Prison"
Nathan Dodd
"Neat to see, apparently was rebuild or expanded in 1904 but was in use before then (as aquaduct? Or road? Cannot recall) as some photos show. To get there, we parked at a nearby dog park and walked up some colored steps to access the pathway up to the bridge then the tunnel. I know others commented it was under construction but did not see any sign of that now.
While there, check out Wetzels Cave on side....not easily accessible though and be ready to get dirty"
