Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the First Division Museum at Cantigny for its engaging exhibits, particularly the outdoor tank park where children can climb on vehicles. The D-Day exhibit and the beautiful Cantigny Gardens are also frequently highlighted as major attractions. While some find the indoor artifact collection standard, the overall experience is considered impactful and worthwhile, especially for families and history enthusiasts.

"The tank park has one of the only M1 Abrams on display, and probably the only M1A1 one can climb on. As well as an WWI American-made Renault as well as several WWII and Cold War tanks.
The indoor exhibit is not bad. It is much smaller than the likes of the Museum of the US Army in Virginia and almost all artifacts in display are commonly found like Humvee doors and Irqi uniforms, with the exception of a Medal of Honor for a private.
Don't expect a comprehensive history lesson, but it does talk about some of the human costs and benefits of military deployments including but not limited to combat, and encourages citizen engagement in voting"

"A must go to destination in nice weather. The tanks are displayed in a tree lined courtyard and yes, the children can climb on them. The 1st Division museum didn't disappoint either. Weapons and uniform displays covering the greatest of battles."

"Very nice world war 1 museum and estate. Well kept and good trails. All the tulips and most of flowers were in bloom so it made it all worthwhile to visit. Very beautiful and had lot to see. Wish I knew sooner this place was so close to home. Will visit again. Since they had May fest going on, parking was little bit more on Saturday."
