Visitors consistently praise The Vermont Country Store for its incredible nostalgic atmosphere and vast selection of unique, hard-to-find items. Many highlight the joy of rediscovering childhood favorites and the charm of the Weston village setting. While the experience is overwhelmingly positive, some may find the sheer volume of products a bit overwhelming.

"Couldn’t wait to visit. My Mom (she passed last October) always ordered from the catalog. I grew up with a lot of the items. This was a great visit. A trip down memory lane for both me and my husband. Everyone was helpful with our questions about products and finding a couple items for us. No problems with parking. They are a pet friendly place."

"Stopped by to check out this store on our fall foliage road trip on route 100. It's indeed a fun place to walk around, the store is huge and have lots of varieties of items to look at. Definitely worth stopping by!"

"You have GOT to stop by this store. And, yes, you can enter through the front door (the old-fashioned way in). What doesn't this store have! Food, drink, clothes, candy, maple products, toys, hard to find items, etc. We spent hours in here taking it all in. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. We left with a multitude of various items, but you simply must leave with their common crackers (regular or cheddar cheese), equally delicious. We stopped by Mildred's Dairy Bar next door to order a creemee. Our first, and it was unbelievably spectacular! They also offer sandwiches, hot dogs, milkshakes, etc."
