"My husband and I were really looking forward to dining here but our experience fell far below expectations.
We arrived around 5:15 p.m. for a 5:30 dinner reservation and were told we couldn’t be seated early because the kitchen wasn’t open yet — understandable, but we were surprised we couldn’t even sit for drinks. We waited and ordered drinks at the bar, which had no music or atmosphere at all, and staff mentioned the speakers weren’t working. Even when the live musician arrived at 6 p.m., we still couldn’t hear anything from our table.
Once seated, our server was polite but seemed untrained — unfamiliar with the menu, unsure about ingredients, and unable to recommend wine pairings. There was also a noticeable language barrier, and he brought the wrong wine before another staff member stepped in. For a restaurant of this caliber, the service should be seamless and knowledgeable. Even if it was a first day, staff should be exceptional before they step on the floor.
To top it off, valet service was chaotic. We waited over 15 minutes with no valet in sight. My husband eventually found our keys himself in the valet stand and retrieved our truck.
Overall, this experience was awkward, quiet, and disorganized — nowhere near the five-star standard we expected. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning."

"A special inn and restaurant on a beautiful salt pond. Highly recommend the kayak tour. Views are spectacular and the kayaking is great. So peaceful and fun to watch the sailboats. Can paddle the salt pond and then land near trail that is a short walk to the ocean beach. The restaurant is really nice and the food is great with views and property that is one of a kind. Sunset paddle is very enjoyable. There is a channel to the ocean towards the other end of the pond, just be aware that can get rough depending on the tide. Recommend staying in the pond and walking to the beach on the somewhat hidden path."
