"To watch your child play a tournament here is 30$ per person per day (including children). Snacks are even more expensive marked way above. So, for 2 parents and 1 sibling to watch their son/brother play is 180$ for 2 games. This is not professional or college basketball and is just as expensive if not more. This is highway robbery and them being the venue allowing such nonsense is wild."

Comfort can be an issue due to unreliable climate control, so dress children in layers. While the campus is designed for sports, the overall experience can be challenging due to parking issues and high fees. Focus on the athletes' enjoyment and try to make the best of the environment. Consider bringing entertainment for younger siblings who might be waiting for games to finish.
💰 Budget Travelers

Navigating the Costs: A Financial Breakdown
Adding to the financial burden is the recent implementation of parking fees. While previously free, visitors now face charges to park, often in areas that are not conveniently located. This has been a point of frustration, especially when combined with the high entry fees. For a family of four attending a full day of events, the combined cost of entry and parking can easily exceed $150, not including any food or merchandise purchases. This has led to strong criticism, with some visitors feeling it's 'highway robbery' and not justified for a youth sports venue.
Key Takeaway: Budget generously for spectator fees, concessions, and parking. Consider carpooling or arriving early to mitigate parking issues. If possible, confirm all fees directly with the event organizer before your visit to avoid unexpected expenses.
Comfort and Climate: Battling the Elements
This lack of temperature regulation poses not only a comfort problem but also a potential safety concern, especially for young athletes exerting themselves in high heat. The inconsistency means visitors cannot rely on a comfortable environment, regardless of the outdoor weather. Many suggest that the facility has had years to address these issues but continues to disappoint in providing a basic level of comfort for participants and their families.
Recommendation: Always check the weather forecast and dress in layers. Bring portable fans or cooling towels for hot days, and extra warm clothing or blankets for colder days. Be prepared for the possibility of uncomfortable temperatures impacting your experience.
Event Management and Parking Woes
The recent introduction of parking fees, particularly when implemented selectively or without clear communication, has added to the negative sentiment. Some reviews suggest that the property may not even be zoned for pay-to-park operations, raising questions about the legality and fairness of the charges. This, combined with the high entry fees and expensive concessions, contributes to a perception of the venue prioritizing profit over the experience of families and athletes.
Pro Tip: Arrive exceptionally early for events to secure parking and avoid the worst of the traffic and attendant confusion. If possible, coordinate with other families to share rides and reduce the number of vehicles needing parking.
