Visitors rave about Coffenbury Lake's natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and recreational opportunities. It's praised as a peaceful escape with a lovely 2-mile trail, great fishing, and water sports options. Some note it's a day-use area, and while generally uncrowded, can see more visitors during peak summer times.
"A nice little lake just a mile or so away from the beach and right by the Warrenton KOA. It is a nice easy 2 mile hike around the lake and you might run into some Deer, Elk and see a Bald Eagle. You can also rent paddle boards or kayaks there as well. It has a large parking lot and restrooms you can use. I also have a video of it as well as many others on my YouTube site @PNW-Rush if you want to check it out."

Jessica “Wilder Rose” Guzman
"Beautiful. The lake is right near a campsite so it’s perfect if you want to stay in a beautiful campsite and drive right by the lake to either go fishing, enjoy the scenery or even take the 2 mile trail around the lake. Which unfortunately I did not do that. But hoping to do it next time. You can pay the $30 for the annual state park permit or if you want to just use it for a day you can pay $5. It’s definitely worth checking this place out."
