What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park for its ample free parking, abundant shade from mature trees, and its status as a premier venue for youth sports tournaments. The park's multi-use facilities, including tennis courts, baseball diamonds, and an aquatic center, are highly appreciated. However, some note the long walks from parking to certain fields and the variable quality of umpires during tournaments.
"Lots more parking, viewer space, & trees. However, parking is far from infield view, & dugout, but excellent outfield view w/more shaded areas to sit. Overall everyone on any field has the same opportunity for seating, view, shade, & distance from parking. Excellent for tournaments."
Mary Weiss
"Great place for some open space, nature walk, sunset, sports and dogs. There is some paved parking and some dirt lots. Of you've never seen a mongoose, you can see a troop of them and a clowder stray cats in the evening."
Rebecca L.
"Spent a few days here for a Perfect Game youth baseball tournament. Field conditions are decent, umpires are a different matter but that’s not the park’s fault, LOL. There is some natural shade from trees and a decent breeze since the park is at a higher elevation and the ocean is visible off in the distance. Very long walk to restrooms (but at least they have restrooms which is more than the last few tournaments offered on the mainland.) Grocery store and other quick food options right across the street are a big bonus. Ample free parking. So overall, a very pleasant place to be."
