The free admission and scenic riverfront walkway are also frequently highlighted as major positives. Some visitors note that the orientation film is longer than typical, but still find it valuable.

"Great place to walk around. Would have given it 5 stars if the memorial was wheelchair accessible. Also had trouble with the automatic doors in the welcome center."

"What a surprise National Park Service exhibit staffed by rangers. The movie on Clark was an excellent orientation and the location brand new even though the exhibit was built in 1975 which shows the fort and movements of the men. The park rangers are historians and can answer so many questions. Right on the Wabash River the Rotunda is Art Deco and was beautiful. The location is so historic and worth the visit. Give yourself at least an hour to see both locations. The bookstore was excellent also."

Theresa Hoban

"It's a beautiful old round building and during the summer you can visit inside 7 days a week. There is no cost. They have a beautiful walkway along the Wabash River, if you walk 1.6 miles you land in a nice park."
