"Cedar Grove is a beautiful serene property. Although elegantly decorated in the original furnishings, guests are permitted to relax in the parlors or the library. In addition to the two large shaded verandahs for quiet relaxation there is a roof top verandah for sun or sunset views.
Our suite, as well as the rest of the house was spotless.
The staff is phenomenal, all very sweet. Terri, Christie, and Treena were very helpful. True genuine southern hospitality was exhibited by Tracey and Lauren who made our dining a wonderful experience. Every night at dinner they made us feel like welcome family. We hated to leave them.
The on site restaurant was so convenient and the best we found in Vicksburg. So good we ate there 3 out of 4 nights. Amazing crab cakes. Don't miss them!
I have mobility issues so I was grateful to Mama Christie for greeting us at the car in a golfcart. I could easily navigate the property and avoided the stairs by booking a ground floor suite. There is no lift.

"Every moment, every interaction with staff was perfect! We were running late and called ahead; Lauren answered and assured us she would be there waiting. When we arrived we were met with smiles from Lauren and Tracy, a quick tour, and "We're glad you're here with us". One young man quietly opened doors for us with a smile and a nod as we hauled our stuff in. The morning staff was genuine and kind and those breakfast biscuits were divine! Katrina gave us a tour after breakfast, her insight into the history of the mansion was cheerful and detailed. And we got to have Tracy and Lauren again for dinner the next night! Anthony served us amazing drinks, and the food was next-level deliciousness. Everyone wished us well as we left (which we didn't want to go) and told us to hurry back again one day (which we most certainly will). Ms. Kendra, you have a phenomenal staff, a beautiful Inn, and have elevated a historic building to rival others across the country. Kudos and we cannot wait to see you all again!"

"Such a lovely place! How ever I wish the breakfast was more of a menu or buffet instead of being forced to eat what they give you! I also wished the hot tub worked. Regardless of those two things that aren't really issues. The place was super clean, the staff was wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. The pool cabana room is highly recommended with soft beds and perfect pillows."
