"Stopped by here to support state parks and enjoy the west coast beach. I arrived near the end of the day and the friendly ranger let me know to use the parking app for an hourly pay option, rather than the entire day use fee, so that was quite nice.
I enjoyed my time, stayed about 2 hours. It was a clean beach, not very populated, and I was able to hop up on some riprap and just enjoy the beach for a while."

"Easily accessed from Hwy 101 and, course, the PCH. Laid back spot, perfect for an impromptu stop or an all-day family outing. Whether you're a single person, a couple, a group of friends, or a whole family..... You won't be disappointed by the natural wonders of this large beach. I was there several days in a row (day use only) and never felt crowded. No services or hookups, just parking, the beach, the squirrels and seagulls, and of course the Pacific Ocean."

"Nice place to park by the ocean and walk on the beach. There is a bike trail next to it also."
