What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
McKey Park is a beloved community spot, particularly praised for its excellent pickleball and tennis facilities. Visitors appreciate the updated courts and the opportunity for sports and recreation. However, some concerns have been raised regarding bathroom maintenance and the park's susceptibility to weather damage, which can temporarily impact accessibility.
"I have been brining my wife and kids to this park for years. We generally have a little in car picnic and then afterwards, the kids jump out to go play while we digest our food and watch some streaming platforms. The bathrooms aren't bad, but could use some TLC. People can be messy, so I am sure it doesn't take long for those bathrooms to get messy. The tennis courts are awesome if you want to get in some exercise while the kids burn energy. You'll all sleep like babies thereafter."

"Nice park but the locks on the right bathroom don’t work apparently. I turned both the top and bottom lock knob and had THREE different people whip open the door on me within a less than 3 minute period! Terrifying! Also, society, can we please freaking knock on public bathroom doors before you open them????"

"Newly updated pickelball courts have ample parking. So many courts. Bathroom was unlocked and clean. There was a Pavillion for shade but not enough shade elsewhere. Great pokestop. My kid did not enjoy this park much. The playground is more to entertain while adults play court games. No trails but a random bridge crosses a creek to another patch of dirt."
