"Wonderful center and staff. We enjoyed walking on the trail and visiting. It was great watching some of young children and their excitement - some had just finished a scavenger hunt and they were receiving their reward."

"We took an evening tour of a Beaver Pond. We arrived at the Vail Nature Center where we met our tour guide, Brigit. She drove us to another site where we hiked for about 20 minutes to get to the Beaver Pond. Brigit was so personable, full of knowledge, and excited to share her information with us. She told us about the natural history of the area all along the way. The scenery on the hike was just gorgeous. The Beaver Pond was just beautiful and we were able to see the dam and the lodge that they built. We were especially excited to see two beaver swimming and diving while we were there. We also got to see a heron perching on the lodge and watching everything. We had a great hike back with a beautiful sunset. I look forward to taking another tour with Brigit who did a wonderful job. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun too."
