"The Tybee Island Pier & Pavilion is always one of our favorite places to visit when we’re on the island. It’s a fun and relaxing place to walk, enjoy the ocean views, and people-watch. There are little stands where you can grab food or drinks (just a heads up—many are cash only, so come prepared!). This time was especially memorable because I actually got stung by a stingray for the first time ever. We walked over to the First Aid Station at the pier, and the staff there were so helpful and kind. They let us use their vinegar spray on my ankle, and it brought almost immediate relief. I was so thankful they were there and knew exactly what to do. The whole area is well-maintained, there’s seating, shade, and the beach access is super close by. Whether you’re fishing, taking photos, or just soaking in the sea breeze, this is a spot worth visiting. We always end up having such a great time here and can’t wait to come back!"
