Wouldn’t it make more sense to be open after 5 PM and on Saturdays so that the kids who go to school can go there and check out books and read? And the people who have day jobs can actually go there and check out books and read? The library always used to be a safe space for me as a child. There’s absolutely nothing for kids to do in two harbors. I would think businesses such as the library would create more access to kids and teenagers to be able to do something productive with their time away from school and on Saturdays."
