"Sierra-at-Tahoe is an awesome ski resort! My daughter and I went the day after Christmas after not snowboarding for 4 years, and it was such a great experience. This is where my daughters first learned to snowboard, so it was exciting to come back. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Even though the weather was cloudy, with light snow falling and windy, the snow conditions were surprisingly good, and we had a fantastic time. The resort is perfect for families, with plenty of easy and intermediate runs that are great for all skill levels. It’s also super convenient, only about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Sacramento. I will definitely return! Highly recommend it for a fun and family-friendly snowboarding or skiing trip."

"This place is great for beginners and it definitely takes the ease and stress out of first time skiers like myself. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I wish the food was healthier and had better choices, but I am happy they serve salad, espresso Martini and beer on tap. My husband had a burger and I had a turkey sandwich with broccoli soup. The soup did not sit well in my belly and so I will just bring my own packed lunch in the future."

"2000 acres of bliss! Staff is always friendly, mountain is a great mix for all skiers, parking isn't to far from the lifts, unless it's a full day, then a little further but not bad. Food is really good at the 3 eating areas!"
