"The trail was easy to follow and the views were absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of towering mountains and lush valleys. The weather was ideal, not too hot or cold, and the trail wasn't crowded at all. It was the perfect way to start our Yosemite adventure and get a taste of the park's natural beauty. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely loved this trail. We did an S shaped trail by combining it along with the lower Yosemite falls trail. We rode the green line shuttle to stop 6 for lower Yosemite falls, did the full falls trail, which ends on "accessible" side ( right side on map) at the trailhead for cook's. This trail ends right outside the Yosemite village. Easy walk to the village. This trail was suggested by the different at the welcome center. Thanks Elrah."

Best Times to Visit for Scenery and Crowds
Autumn (September-October) brings a different kind of beauty, as the surrounding deciduous trees turn shades of gold and red, creating a warm, picturesque landscape. While the waterfalls may be less powerful, the fall colors offer a stunning contrast to the granite cliffs. Crowds tend to be lower than in summer.
Summer (July-August) is the busiest season, and while the meadows are green, the waterfalls can be significantly diminished or even dry. The weather is generally warm and pleasant, but the high volume of visitors can make the trails feel crowded. Winter offers a serene, snow-covered landscape, but access to the meadows and trails may be limited due to snow.
