"We throughly enjoyed our experience at The Blue Swallow Motel. We were on a two week road trip that involved parts of old Route 66 and some National Parks. Robert and Dawn are doing some amazing things there with the property. The vintage vibe was perfect. We were in room #1. To think about all the souls that have stayed in that room was quite enticing. The hopes and dreams traveling out on the road. To quote Jack Kerouac, "So shut up, live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry". Thank you Blue Swallow."

"Had my third stay a few days ago. Still my favorite place to stay on Route 66. Rob and Dawn are excellent, hands on hosts. The neon is great and I always enjoy how other guest come outside after dinner to visit and listen to the music. Rooms are always clean and a true throwback to another era.
And Rob makes a great cup of coffee!"

"We had an amazing experience at the Blue Swallow! We drove in on a stormy night, and were very happy to settle in for some rest on our Route 66 trip. Rob greeted us warmly, and then took us on a tour of the Motel, including personally showing us to our really cute room. Later, I wandered into the office and had a really nice chat with him about the history of the place, and his and Dawn's experience as owners. It is obvious that they have a lot of pride in their iconic inn, and they should! It is remarkably well preserved and maintained, and the personal touch that they add through their warm service with the guests is so unusual and amazing! The rain chased me back to my room, but we slept well in the comfortable bed, and then hit the road again in the morning, only to receive a call from him a few hours later informing me that I had left my raincoat on a hook in the bathroom. He told me not to worry; they would wrap it up and mail it to me (which they did!). Who does that? This is what real service looks like!!! We highly recommend the Blue Swallow!!!"
