"Beautiful, well-maintained, historic garden oasis in Traverse City. Visited on a warm Friday in July. Completely free, donations are accepted, including a docent led tour on golf cart (especially appreciated for the mobility- challenged, and even our dog got to ride). The whole of the gardens can be explored at your own pace. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to make it a completely enjoyable experience. Will definitely return when in the area again."

"We walked in and was greeted with a free tour upon arrival. My friend is physically handicap and can't walk much so they drove her around in a golf cart which was nice. It is a big area but not like a typical botanical gardens, not a lot of flowers or vegetation. They have a small Chinese garden that is very pretty. It was nice overall but we didn't spend a lot of time there."

"Super cool and relaxing place. Beautiful flowers and nice paths. Can totally recommend this place. WE saw a snake and a praying mantis. Awesome. And ITS free to visit."
