I went all the way around to the golf course and then came down to explore the cliff/beach.
Took around 2.5 h.
Make sure you bring water. There is really no escape from the sun.

"Beautiful trails, with a great variety of native plants on the bluffs and in the canyons. Be ready for some pretty good elevation gain, this is not a flat, shoreline, hike (nor is it El Cap). Bring water even in the winter. When they're out, dolphins, seals, occasionally whales, are visible from up there.
In the summer we cool off from the hike with some time in the surf, looking back at the cliffs we were just on top of."
